yoru ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the yoru mobile application and related services.

Account Data
When you create an account, we collect:

- Password (stored securely using one-way cryptographic hashing; we never store your plaintext password)
Usage Data
We collect information about how you use the app, including:
- Audio tracks and bedtime stories you listen to
- Breathing and relaxation exercises you complete
- Session duration and frequency
- Feature preferences and settings
Device Information
We automatically collect certain device information, including:
- Device type, model, and operating system version
- Unique device identifiers

Tracking and Attribution Data
With your consent (via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS), we may collect:
- Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA)
- Attribution data to understand how you discovered yoru

3. Third-Party Services
yoru uses the following third-party services that may collect and process your data:
RevenueCat

Facebook (Meta) SDK
We use the Facebook SDK for attribution and analytics purposes to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. With your consent, this may involve sharing your IDFA or other identifiers with Meta. For more information, see Meta's Privacy Policy.
Apple and Google Analytics
We use platform-provided analytics tools from Apple (App Analytics) and Google (Firebase Analytics) to understand app performance, crash reports, and aggregated usage trends. These services operate under their respective privacy policies.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
To delete your account, you can use the account deletion feature within the app's Settings screen. This triggers our secure account deletion process, which permanently removes your personal data from our PostgreSQL database, including your email, hashed password, usage history, and preferences.
Please note that some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes even after account deletion. Subscription records managed by Apple or Google are subject to their respective data retention policies.
5. Cookies and Tracking
yoru is a mobile application and does not use traditional browser cookies. However, we use the following tracking technologies:
- App Tracking Transparency (ATT): On iOS 14.5 and later, we display Apple's ATT prompt to request your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites. You can change this preference at any time in your device's Settings.
- IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers): Collected only with your explicit consent via the ATT prompt, used for attribution and measuring ad campaign effectiveness.
- Facebook Pixel / SDK Events: Used to measure conversions and optimize advertising. This tracking respects your ATT preferences on iOS.
6. Children's Privacy
yoru is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to promptly delete that information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@yoru.app.durn.io.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Deletion: You can request that we delete your account and personal data by using the in-app account deletion feature or by contacting us directly.
- Opt-Out of Tracking: On iOS, you can deny or revoke tracking permissions via the App Tracking Transparency prompt or through your device's Settings > Privacy > Tracking. On Android, you can reset or opt out of your advertising ID in your device settings.
- Data Portability: You can request your data in a portable format where technically feasible.
- Correction: You can request correction of inaccurate personal data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via the app or email.
